Tailoring Shoots to Your Needs
As a creative commercial photographer in Haworth, West Yorkshire, my goal is to elevate brands with striking visual content that will lend itself to social media growth.
Visual Storytelling
Whether it’s working with colour schemes, visual themes or the overall landscape of a business interior and surrounding exterior, I work closely with my clients to elevate their visual branding.
Although I’m located in Haworth and my main area of focus is photography in West Yorksire, I’m happy to offer my professional photography and social media content creation and marketing services further afield throughout Yorkshire, the north of England, the whole of the UK or internationally in Europe.
Here are some examples of my photographic work with some amazing local businesses.
Imagine being able to sleep in a cosy, authentic 18th-century cottage just steps away from the top of the famous cobbles of Haworth Main Street?
Wildfell Cottage is perfect for just that. This was a beautiful cottage that I was so privileged to photograph for the start of May. My clients were looking for some up-to-date photos that really captured the heart of what their cottage is all about. There is so much love, care and attention to detail that can’t go missed during your stay at Wildfell.
There is no shortage of local, handmade treasures and decorations procured from some of the incredible gift shops which we are so lucky to have in Haworth and the surrounding area, like the Cabinet of Curiosities, Hawksbys, Steptoe Ted, among others.
Like with all of the holiday cottages I photograph, one of the things I love the most is being able to immerse myself in their story and character, and that’s what I enjoyed doing with this one.
Testimonial:
“Garett recently took some absolutely beautiful photos of our home, and we couldn’t be happier with them. He captured all of the little details that we love about the house, and the results were stunning. Garett is just the nicest person-so gentle and calm and we absolutely loved having him in our home. Nothing is too much trouble for him. Would definitely recommend him.”
In April, as spring really began to bloom across Yorkshire, I was delighted to collaborate with North Yorkshire-based bridal hairstylist, Sarah Goodbarn – Bridal Hair by Brontë.
Feeling an immediate kinship in our mutual love of all things Brontë and all things beautiful, we knew that working together would be a dream.
And indeed it was; one which included breathtaking blooms by bespoke floral designer Moorland Blooms, and a glorious wedding gown from Peggy Bridal.
My wife kindly modelled, bringing Sarah’s Catherine Earnshaw visions to life during dawn photoshoots on our favourite local Haworth Moors and at the exquisite wedding venue, Allerton Castle.
What we captured was the pure magic of a heartfelt collaboration, with a rustic romance and wild passion of Wuthering Heights on the Yorkshire Moors.
In addition to currently exhibiting my photography in this exquisite historic space, I was delighted to be asked to photograph their rooms.
My goal was to capture the immersive ambience of an overnight stay at the Birthplace.
It was my pleasure to capture the soul of each room – each wonderfully named after each of the Brontë sisters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne.
Upon walking in, you immediately feel a sense of warmth, which is what I ultimately aimed to convey through my images.
Bents Holiday Cottage, located in Oxenhope, just a stone’s throw from Haworth, is a beautiful rural cottage lovingly maintained which overlooks the beautiful Worth Valley. Here you’ll be treated to serenity, charm and comfort in every direction with a cosy luxury that will make your stay unforgettable.
Bents Holiday Cottage is located next to the iconic Three Chimneys House from the famous British film The Railway Children, which makes it so incredibly unique and immersive for their guests who stay here. Additionally, you’re welcomed by the sight of the iconic Keighley & Worth Valley Railway steam trains which pass through peacefully through the valley.
The Hawthorn, located on Haworth Main Street, is a renowned gastropub which offers fine dining options that changes seasonally.
They were gracious to accept a collaboration in the autumn, and I was delighted to go in and photograph their exquisite interior, sample their decadent cocktails, and also absorb the incredible ambience The Hawthorn has to offer.
Writers’ Bloc, a unique bar located at the bottom of Haworth Main Street, offers a delightful selection of carefully crafted cocktails.
They also serve beautifully presented Afternoon Tea, bar snacks, pizzas and more.
It was a delight to photograph their incredible interior with so much intricate detail.
Tipple Cottage, which is located just steps away from historic Haworth Main Street, is an absolutely beautiful holiday home that I have had the privilege to photograph a few times now.
Having undergone recent renovations, this stunning stone cottage is so immersive; it’s the perfect base in the heart of Haworth, ideal for to exploring everything the village and area have to offer.

“Garett’s artistic eye is just what we needed to capture the essence of Tipple Cottage. He knows just what to do to highlight our holiday let to it’s fullest potential.
Electric Art Tattoo Studio, located on Bridgehouse Lane in Haworth, is a phenomenal independent tattoo studio run by the talented Frankie Innes.
His attention to detail is incredible, and it was an absolute pleasure to not only photograph his tattoo studio – an incredibly eclectic space – but also photograph him at work and have a glimpse into this exquisite art form.
Testimonial:
“Had the pleasure of having a recent photoshoot done in the studio at Electric Art in Haworth, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. You’ve managed to capture the atmosphere perfectly — all the little details, the gothic decor, and that immersive feel that makes the space what it is.
Casas da Vila
Last year I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a clients’ holiday home in the rural Abrunheiro Grande, near Vila de Rei – home to the centre point of Portugal.
The villa, nestled in extraordinarily peaceful surroundings, was a pleasure to photograph.
Testimonial:
“Garett approaches every task with a positive attitude and is always looking for ways to contribute more. His commitment and dedication have made a significant impact on our business—he truly goes above and beyond.
Recently I have been invited to catpure the spring and summer season at Upwood Holiday Park in Oxenhope – just a short distance from Haworth village.
Upwood Holiday Park is an extensive holiday and residential park surrounded by the iconic moors that Brontë Country is known for.
The series will comprise of photos of the facilities, the surrounding natural beauty and their renowned events.
At the beginning of the new year, it was my pleasure to work with Award-Winning American novelist Stephanie Cowell to help her create social media for her latest historical fiction novel about the Brontë Sisters, The Man in the Stone Cottage.
During this two month project I set out to convey a visual reflection of the mood of her beautiful novel.
Film Project - Bradford University
Very recently I was commissioned by a student to assist in taking photographs for their film project at the marvellous Cliffe Castle in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
This was the first time I’ve taken on a project of this description, and it was a fantastic experience where everyone was incredibly involved in their roles. Although the pictures are not to be published at this time, you can see a few examples of the interior that I photographed which we worked with for the various scenes which I photographed through this brilliant experience.
